Sunday morning services are normally held at both our churches every Sunday, and we provide a full range of special services at times like Easter and Christmas. Full details are posted on our website.
If you can't be with us in person, please do join us online. Services at Christ Church are live streamed on our YouTube channel, and available afterwards on both our YouTube and SoundCloud channels. Christ Church is also genarally open for private prayer from 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Wednesday, and on Fridays,
We aim to be a warm, open, and welcoming community – providing a space for human flourishing and the transformation for good of the communities of which we are a part. We look forward to meeting you.
9.00am at St George’s, West End - Sung Communion
This contemporary language service lasts for about an hour and generally includes three hymns and a 10 minute sermon. The atmosphere is warm and friendly helped by the comparatively small size of the church. Children are welcome and remain in the service. After the service many of the congregation move on to our village pub, the Prince of Wales, for coffee and fellowship.
10.30am at Christ Church, Esher – Parish Communion
This service in also in contemporary language and lasts for about 70 minutes. There are typically, three hymns led by a robed choir, with an address lasting around 10 minutes. The choir often sings an anthem during communion. Children and young people are welcome, and go to their activities after the gathering prayer and return for communion. Refreshments are served in church at the end of the service.
On the first Sunday of the month the service often has a more 'all-age' feel, perhaps with the talk including an interactive component. Activites are available at the back of church for the very youngest children but generally the intention is that all ages worship together.
